Our Hopes for "Wayside"

So it's out! And after all this build up, it could be very easy to feel deflated, and submit to that feeling of "What now?"... But not us!

You see, we've set ourselves a goal. And it's possibly a little lofty, but a goal isn't worth striving for if it isn't a challenge, right? So here it goes...

We want to reach 1000 streams on Spotify, ideally within a week.

It's crazy, but it feels right. But it all comes down to this - we could never achieve this goal alone. I mean, we could sit there and hit the refresh button but I don't think it would work... So we need your help!

There are so many ways we can achieve this goal together, and you don't have to spend a penny to give us a hand! Here's some of the things you could do:

  1. Play "Wayside" on Spotify. A play only counts if it's for 30 seconds or longer - so please don't feel like you have to refresh it. Play it and listen, enjoy it - that's what we wrote it for!

  2. Make a playlist. Do you remember recording your own mixtapes from the top 40 on Radio One? Well, let's make our own mixtapes! Add "Wayside" to a new playlist, and add as many songs to the list as you like - make it a vibe. While you're at it, share it with us so we can listen too!

  3. Post Wayside to your story. From Spotify, share Wayside to Instagram Stories - tell all your friends, the more the merrier!

  4. Print out our art and post a selfie - This one's a little old school... download our artwork and pose with it, and post a selfie to your social media - don't forget to make the post public and tag us! Bonus points if you tag the song on Spotify too!

  5. Slide into our DMs and let us know what you think! We wrote the songs for ourselves, but we're releasing them for you - and we want to know what you think of our music! Does the song spark a memory for you? Do we remind you of another band? Let us know!

Before we finish up for today's post, I just want to thank you so much for coming along with us at the beginning of this journey. This is just the first of much, much more music yet to come.
